RPDR Season 13 - Episode 13
Before we jump into this, there are spoilers below if you haven’t watched the episode yet. All the comments below are just my fun opinion, its a TV show don’t get upset if I didn’t like your favourite Queen!
With last weeks roast behind the Queens they return to the werkroom to see Utica’s message and wipe off her lip stick from the mirror. As the Queens gather to de-brief they realise they are one more elimination away from top 4. Sh*t is getting a little more serious now honey!
De-dragged and ready to take on the next challenge the Queens enter the werkroom for another day. Due to this weeks challenge being such a big action blockbuster the mini challenge is skipped. The Queens sit down to decide rolls in their film ‘Henny, I shrunk the Drag Queens’. Everyone picks their roles without much resistance until we get to Symone and Kandy who both fight for the same role… Both seem pretty stubborn for the role but Symone finally bows down and takes the role she didn’t want. That drama over the Queens gather around the screen for a little acting tip session with the one and only Scarlett Johansson! Season 13 be dropping those big acting names this season girl! Scarlett was super cute and gave out some good advice to the Queens questions, but the whole session was stolen when I assume it was her husband or boyfriend quickly jumped on. I dunno what he said but damn he was good looking!
Acting tip session done the Queens prepare for the green screen time. Joining the Queens to help with directing is Michelle and Carson. During this acting session none of the Queens really forgot their lines, no one was shockingly bad but I also felt no one really gave that Oscar worthy performance. The funniest moment for me was Gottmik fighting off the cat paw whilst having a sneezing fit! It was comedy gold. Still when all the green screen gets added and edited who knows how the Queens will come off. Runway theme this week Haute Pockets. I mean at first I didn’t know what the hell this meant but looks walked and I LOVED Symone’s, no surprise there tbh. I did really want to love Rose’s but sadly I couldn’t get down with such a wide shape on her frame and Gottmik, wow, wow, wow. Such a clever creative look, even though I expect it from Gottmik she still knocks it out the park and keeps me on my toes which I love! Looks presented the Queens watch their film back. Tbh the judges were laughing, I wasn’t. It might just be me but I never really find any of these acting challenges or stints funny. Maybe its my Britishness that doesn’t get the U.S humour but still it was a meh for me. However, past the lack of comedy for me we have a clear lead or Rose with a best supporting actress of Gottmik for me. Symone did okay although the judges ate her up. I wasn’t blown away or upset with performance. Kandy again was a okay for me and wasn’t the big Kandy character I was expecting and sadly Olivia wasn’t bad, she just gave us the same we have seen before.
Judges critics done and we have another win for Rose and Kandy and Olivia end up in the bottom which I think I would agree with. The lip sync was another really funny one and we got to see the Queens do their thing. Sadly for Olivia her time came to an end with Kandy sending her home. As harsh as this will be I think Ru partly did it so if he has to pick a top 3 Kandy will be an easy boot off leaving Gottmik, Symone and Rose fighting for the crown.
Each one could easily win it. They would all bring something special when crowned and I wouldn’t be mad at any of those three winning. Who do you think will win? - let us know in the comments on our socials.
